Dr. Rowell was extremely informative with the information that she provided. She explained members of my dissertation team that I did not know existed until today. She was very pleasant to speak with and stated that she was on my team to ensure that I complete my degree. She also gave some immediate feedback for me to begin working on until I reconnect with her on next week. I feel confident with Dr. Rowell as my adviser that I will be able to finish my degree.

As always Dr. Rowell was there to discuss my paper in depth and provide guidance to get me to finish line. I always feel inspired and motivated after our telcons. She really knows her stuff and it feels great to have her in my corner. She's tough but she wants to see you push yourself to be and do your best. I always enjoy our conferences and cannot wait to get cracking on the direction she gave me. She wants you to succeed and she does what she can but the leg work is up to you.

This was the initial contact meeting for the dissertation course after completing the comprehensive exam. The meeting went very well and Dr. Rowell is both personable and knowledgeable. I look forward to working with her as my dissertation chair.
